Umzingeli Safaris is operating from Grahamstown, situated in the heart of the Frontier Country, the Malaria free Eastern Cape Province of South Africa. We invite you to come and experience this region, its unique landscapes, authentic people and diversity of species through our tailor made photographic or hunting safari packages.
Umzingeli Safaris was established in 2017, and is owned and operated by Hennie van Jaarsveld and Tahlita Olivier. Hennie has been a professional hunter for more than 17 years and is known and loved for his patience, dedication and excellent service. Tahlita, also a professional hunter, with a background in Game Ranch Management and Hospitality completes this efficient team.
Our mission is to build a legacy through ethical hunting, unique packages, quality service and memorable experiences to ensure that the tradition of hunting is preserved for the future generations. With over 27 years’ experience in the hunting industry, we believe there is an intricate connection between hunting and conservation. Thus we offer ethical, fair chase hunting packages throughout our concessions with self-sustaining herds, ensuring exceptional quality animals. Our concessions provides for over 40 species, including plains and dangerous game throughout the year. Our licenced and experienced team will guide you safely to a perfect shot, whether you are a beginner or a novice hunter.
